The Oast Youth Theatre

The Oast Youth Theatre offers a broad theatre experience for 13 to 19 year olds who want to build their confidence, work as a team and want to have fun but are also prepared to commit fully to our programme and productions. Everyone can have a go at everything here at the Oast, whether it is acting, hands on with lighting, sound, backstage work, set building or even turning your hand to costuming. We hold regular workshops (evening club nights with a mix of improv, games, script work and learning) three or four times a month, regular one-act plays at festivals and stage three full length productions a year. In addition, we have a very active social calendar. We believe that theatre should be for all, so we have a policy that offers the youth theatre members all the resources of a well-equipped theatre and an exciting season of ‘drama for youth'.
