Since 1996 The Bournemouth Youth Theatre has supported and inspired local talent by offering students between the ages of 2-18 professional training in all 3 areas of the arts, Singing, Dancing and Acting. Our team are industry professionals with many years experience in their specialist field. The school is renowned for its fun, friendly and ‘family like’ reputation. The BYT is a place for your children to feel safe and secure allowing them to fully explore their creativity. We passionately believe that every student should have their moment to shine so everyone is welcome, regardless of ability, no audition necessary, we even offer FREE TRAIL sessions to ensure that The BYT is the right place for you. The BYT is proud to say that many of its previous students have continued to pursue a career in the performing arts. We currently have students studying at National Youth Music Theatre, Guildford School of Acting, London School of Musical Theatre, American Musical Theatre Academy, BIMM, Jellicoe theatre and a variety of universities studying; Theatrical make-up, drama, musical theatre and television production. We meet every Saturday afternoon 2-5pm at St Michaels School, Bournemouth.
