Prime Theatre are looking for an experienced Youth Theatre practitioner
Job Description
Prime Youth Theatre prides itself on providing professionally led, fun-filled workshops where members can make friends, build confidence, nurture their imagination and develop their performance skills. Our Beginners group is for young people approximately aged between 8 and 11 years with little or no experience of drama. Workshops take place in the Wyvern Theatre, Swindon on Saturday mornings 10am-11am during term time.
For many of our members the Beginners group is the start of their journey with Prime Youth Theatre, therefore we are looking for an experienced youth theatre practitioner who can inspire a love of drama, theatre-making, and promote our ethos of company, support and community. Your workshops should be fun, whilst giving the members a solid foundation in drama and performance skills and culminate in a relaxed sharing or work once or twice a year.
